Behnaz Rajaeieh, launched her brand Behira in 2015. Her intention since the beginning was to re-propose the well-known traditional art of her city Isfahan, Ghalamkari ( block printing) in a modern way to fulfill the contemporary taste and needs.
Getting inspired by Persian art and mythology, Behnaz designs unique patterns which are destined to be carved in a proper piece of wood. This wooden seal is used to print the colorful patterns on the textile.
Behira works on creating sustainable trends, combining the traditional technique with a modern design.
