Navaye Flokkr is a Persian-Norwegian folk duo made up of Kiana, a folk singer, and Ole, a multi-instrumentalist who also plays the langeleik, a traditional Norwegian string instrument.
Together, they fuse traditional melodies from Scandinavia and the Middle East with their own original compositions.
With the sounds of tar, daf, bendir, langeleik, and guitar, they’ll create a cozy and intimate evening featuring songs from different corners of the world.
✨ They’ll be joined by Azadeh, a guest musician from Tehran, Iran, who will play the tonbak, a Persian drum, in selected pieces.
