Vocal Journey “Avaz” with Kiana

Avaz means “song” in Persian, and also refers to a traditional Persian vocal form known for its improvisation and deep emotional expression.

Kiana is a Persian singer offering an intimate vocal workshop focused on Persian songs and techniques she has learned over many years with Mahsa Vahdat.

The Avaz workshop will consist of several gatherings, and Mahsa Vahdat will join and lead some of the sessions during the period.

In the circle, we learn songs and explore sounds that match the mood.
The workshop is a calm and open space for anyone who wishes to sing, get to know Persian folk songs — and perhaps discover new voices within themselves.
